Introduction
What TrueEngage is, how it collects events and reaches people over push, email, SMS and in-app messages, and which docs to read first.
TrueEngage is a customer engagement platform. You send it what your customers do (events). It groups people into segments. You reach them with campaigns and flows over push, email, SMS and in-app messages.
What you can do
- Collect behaviour. Install an SDK in your Android, iOS, Flutter or web app, or send events from your backend.
- Know your audience. Every person has a profile with attributes, devices and a timeline of activity.
- Reach people. Send a one-time or recurring campaign, trigger a message from an event, or build a multi-step flow.
- Send safely. Consent, frequency caps, quiet hours and do-not-disturb apply to every send, so you do not have to rebuild those rules.
- Link into your app. Share smart links that open the right screen, or send them to the store first. See Smart Links overview.
- Measure. Track delivery, engagement and conversions in Analytics.
- Feed your ads. Send conversions to Google Ads, Meta and Google Analytics 4, and sync segments as ad audiences. See Ad platforms.
Who these docs are for
- Marketers and product teams use the console to build segments, campaigns and flows. Start with the quickstart, then read core concepts.
- Developers install an SDK and call the API. After the quickstart, read the API overview.
Where to start
- Quickstart. Sign up and see your first event in about 15 minutes.
- Core concepts. The words used across the console and the API.
- Test and Live. Why every workspace has two environments.
- API keys. Create the keys your apps and servers use.
- Team and roles. Invite colleagues and control what they can do.
