The first TrueEngage release brings the console, the send channels and the first SDKs.

Campaigns on every channel

Create a campaign for the moment you need it. Choose a type, an audience, content and a schedule, then review before it goes out.

  • Four audience-based types. Send once, repeat on a schedule, send when a user does something, or let your own server start it through the API.
  • Transactional messages. Create endpoints for OTPs and order confirmations. Your server calls the endpoint with a slug and an idempotency key, and the message can go to a specific device.
  • One push channel. Mobile push and web push are one channel, so a single campaign reaches whatever device the user has.
  • Send rules. Consent, frequency caps, quiet hours and do-not-disturb apply to every send except transactional messages.

Availability: Test and Live.

For more information, see Campaigns overview and Transactional campaigns.

Flows

Build multi-step journeys on a canvas, with entry rules, variables, goals and exits.

  • Business events. Define an event once, and activating it from your server starts every flow bound to it.
  • Runs you can follow. Each scheduled run is recorded, so you can see what happened and when.

Availability: Test and Live.

For more information, see Flows overview and Business events.

Segments and computed attributes

Define an audience with the query builder and see its size as you build.

  • Rules on attributes and events. Combine them in nested groups.
  • Computed attributes. Use values that TrueEngage works out for you from a user's events.

Availability: Test and Live.

For more information, see Segment builder.

Templates

Write message content once and version it. Check it, preview it with a real profile, send a test, then publish.

Availability: Test and Live.

For more information, see Templates overview and Versions and publishing.

Providers, routing and sending domains

Connect the vendors that deliver your messages and decide which one sends what.

  • Providers. Connect a vendor for push, email, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp or webhooks, and verify its credentials.
  • Routing rules. Send by country or attribute, set a fallback and split traffic by weight.
  • Sending domains for email. Register a subdomain for each email category, publish its DNS records and choose who handles unsubscribe.
  • One-click unsubscribe. Promotional email carries the unsubscribe headers that Gmail and Yahoo require.

Availability: Test and Live.

For more information, see Providers, Routing and Sending domains.

CSV imports

Bring users and events into TrueEngage from a CSV file in four steps, and see what happened to each row.

Availability: Test and Live.

For more information, see Import a CSV file.

SDKs for web and mobile

The first versions of the Android, iOS, Web and Flutter SDKs track events, identify users, manage consent and receive push.

Availability: SDK 0.1.0.

For more information, see SDKs overview, and the release notes for Android, iOS, Web and Flutter.

A redesigned console

The console has a new look after sign-in, with a clearer shell, a command palette and a Test and Live switch in the top bar.

Availability: Test and Live.

For more information, see Console tour.
