1In short
The TrueEngage website and console use browser storage only to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let third parties track you across sites from our pages. Because everything we store is necessary for the service you asked for, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
2What we store
| Purpose | Type | What it holds | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session | Local storage | Access and refresh tokens for the console | Until you sign out or the session expires |
| Console state | Local and session storage | Last workspace and environment, saved views, dashboard layout | Until you clear it |
| Website preferences | Local storage | Pricing currency and similar choices | Until you clear it |
None of this storage is read by any other website.
3The TrueEngage web SDK on customer websites
Businesses that use TrueEngage may add our web SDK to their own websites. There the SDK stores an anonymous identifier, session details and push subscription state in the visitor’s browser, on behalf of that business. The business decides whether to load the SDK and is responsible for telling its visitors and obtaining any consent required. Questions about such storage should go to that business.
4Your choices
You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings. If you do, you will be signed out of the console and your preferences will reset. Questions: privacy@true-engage.com.
